RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows you to browse news headlines from a variety of different websites all in once place. SmokeFreeOhio provides its news releases in RSS format so that you can keep up to date on the latest activity using your favorite news reader program.

What do I need?
Download a program called a RSS news reader to your computer. Then, you add RSS news feed links to this reader program.

Search the internet for the news reader you want and download it! This page has a list of the better readers.

Once I've got my RSS reader and I'm all ready to go. How do I add the SmokeFreeOhio RSS news feed?
Just go to our news releases, click on the RSS Feed link and your reader should pick it up. Or enter the link (which ends in ".xml") manually into your news reader program. As new versions of web browsers are released, they will have the ability to add and read RSS feeds automatically. The Firefox browser, for example, allows you to add RSS feeds as links and read them within the browser.
